The Moola Mantra Trance Dance by Mirabai & Timothy Surya Das.

Our friends & fans who donate more for this chant will be directly supporting our future musical mantra projects. We aspire to make a full album together this year. Thank you in advance and enjoy our new creation. May it move you, connect you more deeply to the power of mantra, and help awaken your higher consciousness.

The story behind this creation:

Our friend, Liselot Bergen, (integralwisdom.net), invited Mirabai to participate in Oneness University’s May 2017 'Moola Mantra Month', which is still underway now. She signed up to participate for she loved the idea of collective focus on one mantra (like group prayer) and she has offered Kirtan music for Oneness events in the Bay Area (mirabaiandfriends.com) and feels a connection to their teachings.

Mirabai approached sonic alchemist, Timothy Surya Das, (harmonicdreams.com), to help record a practice track for her to sing with as she participated in the monthly prayer procedure. Timothy added his amazing magical beats and creative flare, and then...BOOM! This phenomenal energy came...  more

____________________________________

For this mantra practice, Mirabai sings the Moola Mantra slowly three times as an invocation, then there's an intentional pause for a personal intention, wish, or prayer. The mantra is sung in rounds of 7, for a total of 49 repetitions. (it's not looped, she's singin' straight through!) Feel free to listen, sing along, or dance. Afterwards use the power of your mind to visualize your desire fulfilled and express gratitude. Meditate and rest in silence afterwards.

When you recite the mantra for this length of time it brings the random fluctuations of the 'monkey mind' into a state of dharana or concentration. Sri Bhagavan, founder of the Oneness movement, states this about the Moola Mantra, “This mantra evokes the living God, asking protection and freedom from all sorrow and suffering. It is a prayer that adores the great creator and liberator, who out of love and compassion manifests, to protect us, in an earthly form. This Moola Mantra has given great peace and joy to people all over the world, who have chanted, or even listened to it. It has the power to transport ones mind to the state of causeless love and limitless joy.”
